Dinner at Sally's

Tonight Wyatt's parents Todd and Nicole invited us to dinner at Sally's, a little restaurant/bar in the neighborhood. Being on the university campus, most dining establishments are either sports bars or fast food joints, with a couple of other options peppered in... Just to refresh your memory, Wyatt is one year post transplant, and here for tests and check-ups. Todd and Nicole said Sally's was their second dining room when they were here a year ago.

At dinner, Sarah won the prize for getting the most food on herself. Gracie won the prize for sleeping the most - almost through the entire meal. Wyatt wins the entertainment award. He's really a cute kid. He loves to play games with his daddy, and even played once or twice with uncle mack. :) He got really excited when it started raining outside. Such a cute little guy. I did get one picture (forgive me for the bad lighting) while we were there so I thought we'd have Wyatt make a cameo on SG.

Daddy has taken a bunch of new pictures of Gracie too, so we'll pick a few good ones to post here over the next couple of days.

Good night everyone. The next couple of days are doctor appt. free. The prescription is lots of rest fo both Gracie and Mommy. They've got some catching up to do!

I'm praying for Gracie to feel better ASAP. Sorry to hear her admission was pushed back, but better to go into chemo as healthy as can be.

Wyatt's story is very inspiring, I know Gracie will have her own inspiring story to tell as well-she's a fighter! Keeping all of you in my prayers, & much love to all of you as well.

Sarah, I am sending you some excellent quality vitamin C. It's in a crystal form so you just mix it in with whatever you're drinking, it's completely safe, I've been taking it and giving it to Jessica since she was an infant. We swear by it, because there have been many times when we just feel a virus coming on, start dosing, and it actually goes away. I know how important it is for you all to stay healthy and keep even the little bugs away and this is a really good weapon for your arsenal!! Love you & smooch Gracie for us~ Lily & Jessica

I was hoping our visit would coincide with Wyatt's this year... so glad you got to spend some time with them though!

So glad there are no more delays and you will soon be on the road to recovery!

Lots of hugs and prayers!
