Day +25... Out and About!

So today was a pretty good day for Gracie. Her counts are up again today. WBC is 3.8 and Neutrophils are 3.0!!! Great numbers again! Her kidney function is slowly improving as well so we're feeling pretty good with our current plan. We changed the dressing over Gracie's new line and she did so well that I thought that she deserved a special prize... a trip out of the room and for a ride in the wagon around the unit hallway!!! Whee! I got a it on video and decided to post a snippet of it here for all of our loved ones to see. Sorry for the crappy camera-work. Mommy had to pull the wagon and videotape it and I am obviously not so good at multitasking. :) Enjoy!

So glad that the bleeding from the central line replacement finaly let up. What a mess, I can only imagine how scarry it must have been to watch.
Yippy for Gracie's numbers! Grow, Grow, Grow! Glad that she is back in the crib, and hope you feet and back dont take too much of a beating.
Love the video. She looks like she had lots of fun on her wagon ride. Gracie looks great. Give her lots of kisses for us.

Wow. That movie warms my little black heart and breaks it at the same time. She is so cute. I'm glad that everyone got to see her. :) She's so strong and is really making progress. I'm so proud of her, and her mommy too.

It was hard to tell since she had the mask on, but it looked to me like she had a big smile on her face. Yay Gracie!

Just catching up on the posts now and I loved seeing the pictures of Gracie's smiling face!!! The video is wonderful and I am so happy that she was able to get out and about. She is an amazing little girl with a very strong soul! I am so proud of Mommy and Uncle Mack for your difficult discussions with the hospital staff. You are doing an excellent job in acting on Gracie's behalf. Gracie - keep up the good work! All of us in DC are cheering for you!!! We love you!! xoxo

girl you need to draw a BIG OL' SMILE on that mask so we can see the real Gracie. I watched the video twice with Sasha and she would lean in towards the monitor and purse her lips and go "mmmm-maa" which is her way of giving a kiss. It was SO cute!!!

It was so wonderful to see Gracie and even with her mask you could tell she was smiling so big. I am so glad she is improving everyday.
